Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Offryn, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Offryn is an independent software platform that lets members of Christ Embassy and other faith communities buy, hold, send, and give in Espees (ESP) stablecoin. We are not owned by, operated by, or officially affiliated with Christ Embassy or any of its ministries. Espees are issued and operated on the Espees network, which is a third party.

To use Offryn you must be at least 18 years old, a legal resident of the United States or Canada, and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Offryn is permitted in your jurisdiction.

Offryn is a custodial platform. When you buy ESP, Offryn holds those ESP on your behalf in a pooled custodial wallet, and your balance is reflected as a line item in our ledger.

ESP are a stablecoin issued on the Espees network. They are not a bank deposit and are not insured by the FDIC, CDIC, SIPC, or any other deposit insurance program. ESP are not a money-market instrument or a registered security.

You sign in with your phone number and a PIN. Sensitive actions may require a one-time code sent to your phone by SMS.

You are responsible for keeping your phone, PIN, and device secure, and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@offryn.co if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Card payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out you also agree to Stripe's terms.
• Minimum purchase: $10 USD. Minimums may change over time.
• The exchange rate you see is the Espees network ESP-to-USD rate. Offryn's 5% conversion fee is shown as a separate line item at checkout — not blended into the displayed rate.
• A quoted rate is valid for 10 minutes. If your lock expires before you confirm, we'll re-quote and ask you to confirm again.
• Once ESP are credited to your balance, the purchase is final. ESP are non-refundable. Disputes with Stripe (chargebacks) are handled under Stripe's process and may result in reversal of the corresponding ESP credit and suspension of your account.

• Sends between Offryn users are free.
• Sends to external Espees wallet addresses include a $0.50 network fee, deducted from the sender's ESP balance.
• Offerings to verified churches are free.
• Offerings to a church that isn't yet in our registry are marked “pending verification” until we confirm the church's Espees code. If we can't verify the church, the ESP are returned to your balance.
• A per-user daily send cap applies for security. The default is 500 ESP per day and can be adjusted by contacting support.
• We don't take a cut of church offerings.

Offryn does not currently support converting ESP back to US dollars or any other fiat currency. Your ESP can be spent, sent to other Offryn users, sent to external Espees wallet addresses, or given as offerings.

Our church registry is built from user submissions. We verify each church's Espees code before any offering is routed to it. If you're a pastor or church administrator and want to claim your church's entry, email support@offryn.co.

Current fees:

• Buy ESP with a card: 5% conversion fee.
• Send to another Offryn user: free.
• Send to an external Espees wallet: $0.50 per send.
• Church offerings: free.

All fees are shown at checkout or before you confirm a send. We may change fees; changes apply only to transactions you initiate after the change takes effect.

When you use Offryn, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your phone number, PIN, and device secure.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes and only as permitted by these Terms.
• Not use Offryn on behalf of another person without that person's authorization.

You may not use Offryn to:

• Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any activity that violates applicable law.
• Defraud another user, a church, or Offryn, or misrepresent the purpose or recipient of a transaction.
• Access, probe, or interfere with accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or automate abusive use of the platform.
• Submit fake church entries or impersonate a pastor or church administrator.

You understand and accept the following risks when you use Offryn:

• ESP aim to track a stable reference value, but they are not guaranteed. Their value can change, be suspended, or in extreme cases go to zero.
• The Espees network is operated by a third party. Its outages, bugs, rate changes, or policy changes can delay or prevent transactions.
• Blockchain transactions to external wallets are generally irreversible. Double-check recipient addresses before you confirm.

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, if we suspect fraud or unauthorized use, if we're required to by law, or when necessary to protect other users or the platform. You can close your account at any time by emailing support@offryn.co. Pending or reversed transactions may delay account closure until resolved.

Offryn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that ESP prices, rates, or limits will remain unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offryn's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the total fees you paid to Offryn in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Offryn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if we've been advised of the possibility.

You agree to indemnify and hold Offryn, its affiliates, and its staff harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of applicable law.

If you have a dispute with us, please email support@offryn.co first. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

If we can't resolve it, any unresolved dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in the state where you live, or remotely. You and Offryn each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

You can opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days of creating your account by emailing support@offryn.co with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account phone number.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim not subject to arbitration must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continued use of Offryn after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
